Like you I love it here. I built my house here over 20 years ago on Fran Ln.
I also developed Kaylee Avenue and personally wrote strict neighborhood building restrictions/covenants to further PROTECT BARATARIA. This action resulted in some of the highest priced homes on the area and IMPROVED the PROPERTY VALUES for all of us on Barataria Island.
We all have the same things in common.
We all got wiped out from the last hurricane(s).
We all have seen our insurance skyrocket.
We all want to make Barataria Better
My goal is simple... to MAKE BARATARIA BETTER.
I am a former elected official and have a crystal clear picture of how government and "politics" work.
However, THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL ORGANIZATION.
This is something we can do together to get things done
and cut the BS red tape. And not tomorrow... NOW.
I am not paid to do this... but have personally paid for the website and database and everything else required to make it happen.
There will be no committees or dues.
Only people that want to WORK towards making "Barataria Better"
